Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Redondo Beach, CA seeks a Business Management Manager - Manager 1 to lead financial planning, EVMS, and cost control for critical programs. The role emphasizes coordinating cross-functional teams, managing budgets, and supporting government contracts with a focus on compliance and performance reporting.

The incumbent will supervise professional staff, analyze portfolio results, and drive cost/schedule reviews while ensuring adherence to FAR/CAS and corporate policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Master's degree in a related field is a plus.
• Active DoD TS and/or SCI clearance required to start.
• Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).

Responsibilities

• Integrate and synchronize a multi-disciplined staff of business and technical leads for EVMS compliant programs.
• Support monthly sector cost/schedule reviews with analysis and recommendations.
• Lead cost, schedule, and technical risk assessments to identify and mitigate program risk.
• Coordinate internal and DCMA surveillance events and EVMS process improvements.
• Provide overall financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for contracts and programs.
• Assist in intercompany program execution coordination and synergy optimization.
