Job summary

Summit Public Schools in the California Bay Area seeks a Special Projects Manager to serve as the right hand of the Dean of Operations, coordinating school-wide projects, events, and operational initiatives while delivering excellent service to families, students, teachers, and visitors.

You will develop and implement plans, support office operations, manage vendor relationships, recruit families, and partner with leadership to optimize systems and programs across Summit’s campuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
• Prior Community Engagement, Operations, Project Management and/or School or Office Experience is strongly preferred.
• Fluency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Google Platforms, including Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Google Slides.

Responsibilities

• Project and Event Management: Develop strategy and implementation plans for school-wide projects.
• Support planning and execution of culture initiatives and school events.
• Support testing logistics and day-of event operations.
