Job summary

Summit Public Schools seeks a Special Projects Manager to act as the Dean of Operations’ right hand, delivering first-class customer service to families, students, teachers, visitors, and stakeholders. You will lead school-wide projects, events, and daily operations while strengthening community partnerships and enrollment efforts.

The role combines project management, office support, and data systems oversight to ensure smooth operations across campuses and programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Prior Community Engagement, Operations, Project Management and/or School/Office Experience strongly preferred.
• Fluency in English and Spanish strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Google Platforms including Drive, Sheets, Docs, and Slides.

Responsibilities

• Project and Event Management: Develop strategy and implementation plan for school-wide projects.
• Support planning and execution of school-wide culture initiatives and testing logistics.
• Plan, organize, and execute preparations and day-of logistics for school events and college-related activities.
• Office Support: Greet visitors, manage inquiries, respond to calls and emails, and maintain welcoming Main Office.
• Manage school data systems and vendor relationships; coordinate onboarding/offboarding and supply contracts.
• Recruitment and enrollment: lead recruitment processes and organize open houses and tours.
• Family and community engagement: build relationships with families and local partners, translate communications when needed.
