Job summary

Summit Public Schools is seeking a Special Projects Manager in the California Bay Area. The role reports to the Dean of Operations and acts as a strategic partner to drive operational excellence across school-wide systems and events.

You will deepen relationships with families, plan campus-wide initiatives, and support recruitment and enrollment while maintaining strong family and staff communications. Key responsibilities include developing implementation plans, coordinating events,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in Community Engagement, Operations, Project Management or office work.
• Fluency in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Proficiency with Google platforms (Drive/Sheets/docs).
• Willingness to attend evening/weekend events.
• Clear health and background check.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategy and implementation plans for school-wide projects.
• Plan and execute school events, celebrations, and college-related activities.
• Coordinate recruitment, enrollment, and family engagement efforts.
• Support Office Manager with front desk operations, communications, and data entry.
• Maintain school systems, calendars, and documentation; manage vendor relationships.
• Collaborate with school leadership on compliance reports and data management.
