Job summary

NRT Bus, Inc. is seeking a part-time School Van Driver to transport students to and from school and events in Lynn, MA. You’ll drive assigned routes, perform pretrip and posttrip inspections, and maintain a clean, safe vehicle.

No nights, weekends, or holidays required, with a guaranteed minimum hours schedule. Paid training is available at $20/hour, with regular pay at $23.70/hour after training. Must have a 7D certificate or willingness to obtain it, a safe driving record, and ability to pass

Qualifications

  • School Pupil Transport (7D) Certificate (or willingness to obtain - we train!)
  • Safe driving record
  • Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience
  • Ability to pass background check, drug screening, & 7D physical
  • Effectively communicate in English (spoken & written)

Responsibilities

  • Safely transport students to and from school and events
  • May include assisting students enter/exit vehicle and using specialized safety equipment (belts, car seats, booster seats, etc)
  • Drive assigned routes
  • Perform pretrip and posttrip inspections
  • Maintain a clean, safe vehicle
  • Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff
  • Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies

Pay: $23.70/hour

Paid Training: $20/hour

Schedule: Parttime, split shift (AM/PM)

Weekdays only - no nights, weekends, or holidays

What You’ll Do
