Job summary

NRT Bus, Inc. is hiring a part-time School Bus Driver to transport students to and from school and events in the Haverhill, MA area. No CDL? We provide paid training.

In this role you will drive assigned local routes, perform vehicle inspections, and maintain a clean, safe bus. We offer weekly pay, guaranteed hours, and opportunities for additional charter trips as needed.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B (or higher) with P & S endorsements; training provided
• Valid DOT medical card or ability to obtain one
• Safe driving record
• Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience
• Ability to pass background check & drug screening
• Effective communication in English (spoken & written)

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and events
• Drive assigned local routes
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff
• Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $31.69-$33.77/hour (Effective August 24th, 2026)
• Paid Training: $20/hour
• Charter/Activity Trips: $27/hour
• Schedule: Part‑time, split shift (AM/PM) Weekdays only — no nights, weekends, or holidays
• Weekly pay + guaranteed minimum hours

What You’ll Do

• Safely transport students to and from school and events
• Drive assigned local routes

Requirements
