Job summary

NRT Bus, Inc. in Fitchburg, MA is hiring a part-time School Bus Driver to transport students to and from school and events. No CDL? No problem — we provide paid training.

Eligible applicants will have a CDL Class B with P & S endorsements (or willingness to obtain), a valid DOT medical card, and a safe driving record. Expect weekday split shifts, paid training at $20/hour, and opportunities for extra hours on charters and activities.

• Valid DOT medical card — or able to obtain one
• Safe driving record
• Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience
• Ability to pass background check & drug screening
• Effectively communicate in English (spoken & written)

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and events
• Drive assigned local routes
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff
• Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies

Pay: $30.90/hour (effective 8/24/2026) Paid Training: $20/hour Charter/Activity Trips: $27.81/hour Schedule: Part‑time, split shift (AM/PM) Weekdays only — no nights, weekends, or holidays Weekly pay + guaranteed minimum hours

What You’ll Do

• Safely transport students to and from school and events

Requirements
