Job summary

NRT Bus, Inc. in Methuen, MA is seeking a part-time School Bus Driver. Pay is $30.96–$32.89 per hour, with paid CDL training of $20/hour for trainees, and weekday split shifts (AM/PM) with no nights, weekends, or holidays.

You’ll transport students safely on local routes, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, maintain a clean vehicle, and communicate professionally with families and school staff. Benefits include dental, vision, 401(k), and a supportive safety‑first team.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B with P & S endorsements or willingness to obtain (we train)
• Valid DOT medical card or ability to obtain one
• Safe driving record
• Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• Ability to communicate in English (spoken & written)

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and events
• Drive assigned local routes
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections

No CDL? No problem. We provide paid training. Already a fully licensed CDL Driver (A or B) with P & S endorsements?

Pay & Schedule Pay: $30.96-$32.89/hour (effective August 24, 2026 Paid Training: $20/hour Charter/Activity Trips: $27/hour Schedule: Part‑time, split shift (AM/PM) Weekdays only — no nights, weekends, or holidays Weekly pay + guaranteed minimum hours
