Job summary

F.M. Kuzmeskus Inc. (TravelKuz) is seeking a part-time School Van Driver to transport students to school and events in Shelburne Falls, MA.

The role offers paid training and a split AM/PM schedule, with weekdays only and guaranteed hours. You will drive safely, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and keep vehicles compliant with DOT regulations. Eligible candidates must have the 7D certificate (or willingness to obtain), a clean driving record, be 21+ with 3 years of driving, pass background

Qualifications

• Must have School Pupil Transport (7D) Certificate (or willingness to obtain — we train!)
• Safe driving record
• Age 21+ with at least 3 years of driving experience
• Ability to pass background check, drug screening, & 7D physical
• Effectively communicate in English (spoken & written)

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and events (may assist students entering/exiting the vehicle)
• Drive assigned routes
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain a clean, safe vehicle
• Communicate professionally with students, families, and school staff
• Follow all state/local traffic laws and school district policies

A Driver is responsible for transporting clients from their pickup point to their destination in a timely and safe manner. Using a vehicle to successfully transport people, performing pre-trip inspections, performing child checks post-route, and keeping their vehicle within DOT regulations are the most important tasks of the driver.

Pay & Schedule

• Pay: $23.70/hour
  • Paid Training: $20/hour
• Schedule: Part‑time, split shift (AM/PM)
• Weekdays only — no nights, weekends, or holidays
• Weekly pay + guaranteed minimum hours
