Job summary

Durham School Services is seeking a CSC Operations Supervisor to lead student transportation services, driver training, and vehicle maintenance programs. You will oversee day-to-day operations, ensure safety, and manage performance against the operating plan.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in transportation, supervisory experience, and a proven ability to optimize routing and staff scheduling; valid CDL and MS Office skills are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• 5+ years’ work experience; 3 years in ground transportation preferred; 1-year supervisory experience may waive.
• Valid Commercial Driver’s License with endorsements.
• Bi-lingual abilities a plus.
• Proficient with MS Office and transportation software.

Responsibilities

• Directs CSC operations, driver training and vehicle maintenance.
• Leads staff; sets expectations and coaches.
• Ensures policy compliance and safety.
• Oversees budgeting, time sheets, and expenditures.
• Represents the company in meetings with districts.
• Improves vehicle routing and routing optimization.
• Prepares customer reports and handles complaints.
