Job summary

Qualifications

• Work requires a high school education or equivalent.
• Three years of transportation services experience required.
• North Carolina Class A or Class B CDL with Passenger Endorsement is required.
• Strong organizational and scheduling skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of transportation operations, safety procedures, and fleet management principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day transit operations, including route scheduling, staffing, vehicle deployment, and service adjustments.
• Develop and maintain operator schedules; coordinate assignments, overtime, and shift rotations.
• Coordinate charter scheduling, staffing, documentation, and billing processes.
• Participate in preventive maintenance planning and coordinate repairs for transit vehicles.
• Train and coach transportation staff on safety, service expectations, and procedures.
• Analyze operations to identify improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
• Respond to inquiries about services; maintain professional communication and reports.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
