Job summary

Amber Charter Schools seeks a Technology Associate to be the first contact for technology issues and oversee installations and repairs for network systems across three school locations in New York. You will support operations with the school-level team and contribute to technology planning discussions.

The role requires an Associate’s in IT or related field with 1 year of relevant experience, strong MS Office/Google Suite skills, and willingness to travel between East Harlem, Bronx, and Upper

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 1 year of experience in a technology role overseeing helpdesk, hardware, and network issues.
• Strong command of Microsoft Office and Google Suite programs.
• Knowledge of Windows and Chromebooks operating systems.
• Willingness to travel to all school locations and pass pre-employment clearance.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for technology help desk issues and manage installations/repairs for network systems.
• Provide support for hardware/software troubleshooting to staff and families.
• Maintain hardware inventory and troubleshoot classroom technology and devices.
• Support school-level data systems and collaborate with systems administrators on upgrades and implementations.
