Job summary

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools is seeking a Technology Associate to support students, staff, and parents with technology operations within a school setting. The role involves assisting with helpdesk tickets, providing basic technical support for devices, and ensuring the smooth operation of instructional technology.

Under supervision, you will manage student devices, contribute to resource selection, and help implement computer-assisted instruction while adhering to policy and security

Qualifications

• Associate degree in education, technology, or related field required.
• Equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license or ability to provide own transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assist staff with submitting helpdesk tickets and follow up as needed.
• Provide basic technical support to school devices, network, AV equipment, and printers.
• Manage student devices each school year and oversee inventory.
• Collaborate with teachers and technology staff to select resources compatible with infrastructure.
• Assist with implementing computer-assisted instructional programs.
• Oversee use of technology and enforce applicable policies.
