Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) invites qualified social workers to join our team of in-district classrooms and schools serving K-12 students who need extra supports.

You’ll provide individual or group counseling, collaborate with school teams and families, and help design social-emotional goals aligned with IEPs/BIPs. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you’ll use evidence-based practices, participate in training, and support student success with compassionate care in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or related field.
• Professional licensure (LPC/LCPC, LCSW/LMSW, LMFT/LMHC, LCMHC).
• 2 years of experience in school-based or behavior health settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students from varying backgrounds.
• Provide individual, group, or push-in counseling per IEP or BIP.
• Collaborate on creating IEPs including social-emotional goals and meetings.
• Complete social-emotional and behavior assessments; analyze data.
• Develop functional behavior assessments, BIPs, and transition plans.
• Implement behavior management, de-escalation, crisis response, and safety measures.
• Provide in-service training with teams including expressive therapy and clinical staff.
• Collaborate with external partners to support students and families.
• Maintain student documents per regulatory requirements.

Education
