Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) seeks a licensed social worker to support K-12 students needing additional behavioral and social-emotional services.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team within school settings, delivering individual or group counseling aligned with IEPs and BIPs. Expect collaboration with families and school personnel, data-driven planning, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work or related field required.
• Professional licensure (LPC/LCPC, LCSW or LMSW, LMFT or LMHC) required.
• 2+ years of experience working with children/adolescents in school/behavior health settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, or family counseling to students as part of an IEP or BIP.
• Collaborate with school teams and families to develop and implement social-emotional goals.
• Conduct assessments and develop behavioral plans, including IEP-related goals.
• Deliver crisis management and de-escalation support as needed to ensure student safety.
• Participate in multidisciplinary teams and provide in-service trainings.
• Maintain regulatory-compliant documentation of student progress and services.
