Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) seeks a licensed therapist to provide social-emotional services to K-12 students in in-district classrooms and standalone schools.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will implement IEP/BIP-related counseling, assess progress, collaborate with families and school staff, and contribute to PBIS CASE framework. We offer paid training, tuition reimbursement, and competitive benefits across our national network.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a professional counselor or social worker.
• Master’s degree in social work, human services, or related field.
• Experience with IEPs, BIPs, and school-based counseling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide social-emotional counseling to students per IEP/BIP.
• Collaborate with school teams and families on goals and progress.
• Implement behavior support plans and de-escalation strategies.
• Maintain student records and progress data in compliance with regulations.
• Deliver individual, group, or push-in counseling as needed.
• Coordinate with external partners to support students and families.
• Participate in ongoing in-service training and multidisciplinary meetings.
• Contribute to PBIS CASE framework and evidence-based practices.

Skills

Education

Master’s degree in social work, human services, or related field

Professional licensure (LPC/LCPC/LCSW/LMSW/LMFT/LMHC)
