Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI), a division of FullBloom, provides in-district classrooms and standalone schools for K-12 students needing extra supports.

The role involves delivering social-emotional counseling within a multidisciplinary team in school settings, building IEPs, and implementing behavior plans to support student success. Ideal candidates hold licensure (LPC/LCPC/LCSW/LMFT/LMHC), a Master’s in a relevant field, and 2 years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Licensed professional licensure (LPC/LCPC/LCSW/LMSW/LMFT/LMHC).
• Master’s degree in social work, human services, or related field (mental health, psychology, counseling).
• 2 years of experience with children/adolescents in school, special education, or behavior health setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, or push-in counseling services to students per IEP or BIP.
• Collaborate on creating IEPs, including social-emotional goals and meetings.
• Complete assessments, analyze data, and develop functional behavior plans (BIPs) and transition plans.
• Implement behavior management and de-escalation strategies to ensure student and staff safety.
• Support social-emotional learning through targeted curricula and assessment.
