Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) provides social-emotional services for K-12 students requiring additional supports. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will deliver individual or group counseling and collaborate with school teams and families to implement SESI’s proven services.

You will work in partnership with districts, participate in IEP processes, and contribute to a safe, supportive learning environment across SESI’s classrooms and partner schools nationwide.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in social work, human services, or related field (mental health, psychology, counseling).
• Professional licensure required as LPC/LCPC/LCSW/LMSW/LMFT/LMHC.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, or push-in counseling services according to IEP/BIP.
• Collaborate on IEPs and social-emotional goals and meetings.
• Complete assessments and develop behavior plans and transition plans.
• Implement behavior strategies, de-escalation, crisis management as needed.
• Support social-emotional learning through targeted curricula and assessments.
• Coordinate with external partners to support students, families, and staff.
• Maintain student records per regulatory requirements.
