Job summary

Harford County Public Schools is seeking a Satellite Kitchen Assistant at Fallston Middle School. This on-site role supports Food and Nutrition Services operations, coordinating with the satellite and production sites to ensure timely meals.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Satisfactory completion of training for kitchen assistant position.
• Strong written, oral, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and handle incoming food and equipment, check quality and temperature.
• Place food orders; inform manager of needs.
• Assist in training and directing other staff at satellite kitchen.
• Maintain POS accountability and cash handling.
• Assist in sanitation procedures per health department guidelines.
• Maintain inventories of food, equipment, paper, and cleaning supplies.
• Support in planning meal promotions and ensuring quality and portion control.
