Job summary

Summit Public Schools seeks a Dean of Operations to lead non-instructional site operations for middle and high school campuses in California. You will supervise attendance, nutrition, enrollment, facilities, safety, scheduling, records, testing, and transportation while driving compliance projects and managing an operations team.

The role requires strong communication, systems thinking, and experience managing teams and cross-site processes to support student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred.
• Operations experience in schools is strongly preferred.
• Experience with data or analysis is preferred.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace (Drive, Sheets, Docs, Slides).
• CPR/First Aid certification.
• Clear health and background check.

Responsibilities

• Manage attendance systems and reports, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Oversee recruitment, enrollment, and enrollment goals across sites.
• Supervise health, safety, and field trips compliance.
• Coordinate meals, nutrition programs, and meal applications.
• Oversee records, testing, and scheduling processes.
• Lead transportation planning and site facilities coordination.
• Participate in school admin leadership and team collaboration.
