Job summary

Summit Public Schools is seeking a Dean of Operations to lead non-instructional site operations for middle and high schools in the Bay Area and beyond. The role reports to the Executive Directors and covers attendance, nutrition, recruitment and enrollment, facilities, transportation, and health and safety, along with coordinating testing and records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
• Experience in operations or school settings preferred.
• Experience with project and people management preferred.
• Experience with data/analytics preferred.
• Proficiency with Google Workspace (Drive, Sheets, Docs, Slides).
• CPR/First Aid certification valid.
• Clear health and background check.

Responsibilities

• Manage attendance systems and ensure timely, accurate reports.
• Oversee recruitment, enrollment, and compliance with charter petitions.
• Coordinate health, safety, and emergency drills and plans.
• Lead meals, transportation, facilities, and field trips operations.
• Supervise operations team and drive cross-functional improvements.
