Job summary

Summit Public Schools seeks a Dean of Operations to lead non-instructional site operations for middle and high schools in the Bay Area region. You will oversee attendance, nutrition, recruitment, enrollment, facilities, transportation, health and safety, records, testing, and transportation, reporting to the Executive Directors.

The ideal candidate is a systems-oriented, results-driven leader with strong communication and people-management skills, able to build relationships with faculty,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is strongly preferred.
• Operations and/or prior school experience is strongly preferred.
• Prior experience in project and people management is strongly preferred.
• Prior experience with data or analysis is preferred.
• Proficiency in Google Platforms, including Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Google Slides.
• Valid CPR/First Aid certification
• Clear health and background check.

Responsibilities

• Manage systems and processes to support daily attendance and collaborate with Executive Directors on both sites to ensure attendance goals.
• Oversee recruitment and enrollment processes to meet enrollment goals.
• Coordinate health, safety, and emergency drills and ensure compliance.
• Oversee meals program and daily meal service; ensure NSLP compliance.
• Manage transportation including field trips and daily bussing.
