Job summary

Summit Public Schools in Washington is seeking a Dean of Operations to lead non-instructional site operations for both Middle and High schools. You will oversee attendance, nutrition, recruitment, enrollment, facilities, health and safety, scheduling, records, testing, and transportation, while managing an operations team.

The ideal candidate will be a systems-oriented leader with strong communication, people and project management skills, and a commitment to Summit’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is strongly preferred.
• Operations and/or prior school experience is strongly preferred.
• Prior experience with data or analysis is preferred.
• Proficiency in Google Platforms, including Google Drive, Google Sheets, Google Docs, and Google Slides.
• Valid CPR/First Aid certification
• Clear health and background check.

Responsibilities

• Manage attendance and compliance reporting across sites.
• Oversee recruitment and enrollment processes and ensure enrollment goals are met.
• Lead health, safety, and emergency drill coordination and compliance.
• Oversee technology inventory and facilities maintenance; coordinate repairs with landlords.
• Coordinate transportation and field trips; manage transportation reporting and compliance.
