The Learning Lamp/Ignite Education Solutions in Johnstown, PA, is hiring Substitute Clerical Aides to support the Greater Johnstown School District. Hours are flexible and aligned with school schedules, offering part-time benefits and growth opportunities within a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities include administrative support, answering calls, greeting visitors, filing, copying, faxing, mail delivery, and attending staff development sessions as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is the minimum education requirement.
• Administrative/clerical experience preferred.
• Must pass required clearances and PWFA training including a physical and TB test.
• Capacity for sitting, standing, walking, bending and stopping for long periods.
• Ability to follow instructions, work with a team and adapt to changing situations.
• Understanding of confidentiality and privacy related to student information.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to district personnel.
• Answer telephone and transfer calls, providing quality customer service.
• Greet school visitors and direct according to school policies.
• File documents; copy, scan and fax for administrators.
• Sort and deliver mail to proper locations.
• Maintain detail-oriented typing and proofreading of documents.
• Contact parents/guardians about student situations when necessary.
• Participate in staff development, meetings and events as assigned.
• Other tasks as requested by administrators.
