The Learning Lamp is seeking a part-time Staff Substitute to support our School District Staffing Programs in the Westmoreland County area. The Staff Substitute will work with the Scheduling Specialist and Ignite team to cover absences in the Paraprofessional Department.

Hours are Monday through Friday during school hours. Pay ranges from $11.50 to $17.00 per hour, with benefits for part-time staff. The role requires a high school diploma and prior experience with children.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Experience working with children is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise children during the school day, including lunch, bus, gym, field trips and playground duty.
• Assist with classroom administrative tasks, inventory and maintaining a clean, orderly classroom.
• Provide instructional support under teacher guidance, including individual or small-group tutoring.
