Qualifications

• Must have HS diploma or GED and 2 years in helper/cashier role or 5 years in helper/cashier role.
• Ability to handle money quickly and accurately; read, write and follow directions in English.
• Food Handler's Card and valid driver license/ID; subject to district policy.

Responsibilities

• Distribute information and applications for free and reduced meals.
• Explain eligibility criteria and procedures to parents and students.
• Process and maintain a permanent file of applications by eligibility.
• Implement USDA program policies and procedures.
• Prepare daily sales and participation reports.
• Assist with preparation of meals and food service operations.
• Maintain accurate records for prepaid meal accounts and deposits.
• Deposit monies and ensure security of funds.
