Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Cook in Forest Grove, OR. You will be responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing, portioning, cooking, and presenting a variety of hot and cold items for all meal periods in accordance with culinary standards.

Work in a fast-paced kitchen, ensuring safety, quality, and organization at all times. The role requires 0–2 years of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to follow recipes and instructions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 2 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good working knowledge of food preparation.
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment.
• Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, cook, and present hot and cold food items.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized workstation.
• Ensure all food products are prepared safely and efficiently.
