Job summary

The Systems Specialist at Manheim Central School District Technology Center in Manheim, PA provides hands-on IT support for Windows-based systems and a mix of devices. You will troubleshoot, install, configure, and maintain hardware and software, support cloud services, and help ensure secure, reliable classroom technology for students and staff.

Required: an associate or bachelor’s degree in IT or related field and 2–3 years’ IT support experience in education or business.

Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in IT or related field preferred; 2–3 years IT support experience.
Experience in educational or business IT support and familiarity with Windows administration.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/365, Google Workspace) and classroom technology is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist students, teachers, and staff with technology issues and provide guidance on computing practices.
Install, configure, and maintain devices and systems across Windows, macOS, Android, and Linux ecosystems.
Maintain network and cloud services, apply security patches, and support audiovisual systems and Zoom meetings.
Keep records of tickets and maintenance activities and participate in security awareness training.
Collaborate with IT team, vendors, and school staff on technology upgrades.
