Qualifications

• High school diploma with coursework in computer technology.
• Certifications A+, Network+, Security+, or MCDST strongly recommended.
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to travel between school sites.
• Experience in IT support roles, preferably in educational environments.
• Strong communication skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot classroom technology and computer hardware/software systems.
• Perform diagnostics and repairs on devices including computers, Chromebooks, and accessories.
• Provide onsite technical support to end users across the division.
• Offer training and mentorship to administrators, staff, and student interns on device and software use.
• Maintain and support computer labs and classroom technology in optimal working condition.
• Track and resolve all IT service tickets through the division’s ticketing system.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current educational technology and trends.
• Assist in inventory management and recordkeeping for technology devices and repairs.
• Perform quality control checks on technology systems and equipment.
• Respond to technology emergencies as needed.
• Perform other IT-related duties as assigned.
