Job summary

Bentonville Schools is seeking a Building Tech Support GR 5-12 to install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair all assigned district hardware and software systems, under the general supervision of the Director of Technology.

The role will assist district staff and students with installation, configuration and ongoing usability of hardware and software, provide daily operations and systems support, travel to school locations, and track inventory in the district helpdesk/asset management system.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Industry certifications preferred (CompTIA, Microsoft, HP, Dell, Cisco).
• Motor Vehicle Operator's License or ability to provide own transportation.
• Verified successful experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting PC, laptop, and mobile hardware/software.

Responsibilities

• Assist district staff and students with installation, configuration and ongoing usability of hardware and software
• Offer daily operations and systems support to staff and students
• Verify functionality of hardware and software components
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in person, remotely and via phone
• Assist staff and students with hardware/software problems and answer their questions
• Track inventory and work progress in district helpdesk/asset management software
• Performs other related tasks as assigned.
