Job summary

Waxahachie Independent School District is seeking a Technology Technician I to provide on-site and remote support for district hardware, software, and peripherals. You will troubleshoot issues, assist staff and students, and maintain computer equipment across campuses under the Director of Technology.

The position requires a high school diploma (GED acceptable), A+ and Dell repair certifications preferred, and at least one year of hands-on experience with computers and peripherals.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
A+ Certification, preferred.
Dell repair certification.
One year of experience installing, maintaining and repairing computers and peripherals.
Provide technical support and troubleshoot problems for district hardware, software, and peripherals.

Responsibilities

Respond to questions from callers and walk-ins; remotely assist staff and administrators with technology problems.
Fulfill and re-assign work orders; track and monitor progress for timely resolutions.
Document resolutions and update manuals or price listings as needed.
Assist with system and operations support for maintenance and enhancement of PC support.
