Red Rabbit is hiring a Food Service Worker, In-School to join a 3–6 person team delivering nutritious, scratch-made meals to hundreds of students daily. You will assist with portioning, serving, light prep, and ensuring compliance with NYS DOH standards.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in fast-paced food service, a Serve Safe certificate, and the ability to lift 50 lbs. The role offers full-time hours, Monday through Friday, with benefits and growth opportunities within an educational setting.

Competenze

• 1+ years professional culinary experience in fast-paced service or school cafeteria settings
• Demonstrated knowledge of proper food safety and sanitation practices
• Serve Safe certificate
• Food handlers license or certificate is a plus
• Able to self-motivate and stay organized
• Works well in a team and maintains composure in a fast-moving environment
• Read/write in English; bilingual a plus
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs regularly

Mansioni

• Portion food according to production and NYS guidelines
• Display and garnish meals per culinary standards
• Present and distribute meals to students with dignity and timing
• Count and track food to ensure accuracy and reduce waste
• Maintain DOH standards by cleaning work stations and equipment
