Job summary

Pittsburgh Public Schools is seeking a dedicated Operations & Compliance Coordinator to support Food Service operations across multiple kitchens. Under the supervision of the Food Services Supervisor, you will help ensure USDA/PDE compliance, quality control, and operational excellence.

You will train Cafeteria and Food Service Managers, monitor CEU training, review reports, and collaborate with school leaders to coordinate food service logistics for district initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience training, coaching, and monitoring staff in a collaborative manner.
• Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision.
• Demonstrated proficiency in planning and organization.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of school kitchens, ensuring compliance and proper operation at multiple sites.
• Train and coach Cafeteria Managers and Food Service Managers in customer satisfaction and compliance procedures.
• Monitor training hours and CEU completion for staff and coordinate with supervisors on improvements.
