Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ServSafe certification required or must complete within 90 days.
• 2 years of experience in food preparation and operations management.
• Experience supervising and training cafeteria staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operational aspects of school kitchens with a focus on safety and service.
• Manage budgets and ensure a positive balance is maintained.
• Onboard and evaluate Cafeteria Aids/Workers and implement procedures.
• Ensure compliance with USDA PDE and health codes.
• Conduct monthly inventory to control food costs and waste.
