Job summary

Connecticut Green Bank seeks a Manager of School Fleet Electrification to lead outreach, coordinate financing products, and guide districts from planning to deployment. Based in Hartford or Norwalk, the role focuses on building relationships with superintendents, fleet managers, and school officials to accelerate electric school bus adoption.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of school bus fleet operations or fleet electrification.
• Knowledge of school district procurement and public funding constraints.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a team and independently with initiative.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with CRM/workflow apps is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a pipeline of Accelerator participants from planning to deployment.
• Lead outreach plans to raise awareness and participation, especially in distressed municipalities.
• Build and nurture relationships with superintendents, business officials, transportation directors, and fleet managers.
• Support participants from engagement through deployment and financing, explain financing opportunities.
• Oversee the fleet electrification planning consultant to ensure actionable district plans.
• Collaborate with Green Bank teams to identify projects and provide comprehensive support.
• Represent Green Bank in boards, committees, and public meetings.
• Provide portfolio progress reporting and other duties as needed.
