Job summary

CONNECTICUT GREEN BANK seeks an Associate to join the Financing Programs team, focusing on program development and origination. You will support Directors in working with property owners, contractors, developers, utilities, and municipalities to identify opportunities and move them to application submission for Green Bank financing.

The role involves handling inquiries, coordinating contractor trainings, maintaining eligibility records, and preparing documentation for C-PACE, Solar Roof Lease,

Qualifications

• Demonstrated interest in clean energy & sustainability and/or clean energy finance.
• Ability to support multiple projects and initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and work with limited supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, with emphasis on providing internal and external customer service.
• Comfort with public speaking.
• Ability to work efficiently on assigned tasks independently and as part of a team.
• Creative problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, particularly Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Salesforce is highly preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage inquiries from multiple sources, schedule introductory calls, explain program options, and evaluate eligibility.
• Connect prospective customers with contractors and program resources.
• Review and follow up on incomplete C-PACE financing applications.
• Prepare and issue C-PACE prequalification letters.
• Draft transaction documentation for Solar Roof Lease and Solar PPA programs.
• Collect, organize, and maintain required documentation for solar financing programs.
• Coordinate internal administration of Solar Roof Lease and Solar PPA transactions.
• Prepare project updates, agendas, and materials for weekly contractor calls.
• Create and maintain program reports, dashboards, and project-tracking data in Salesforce.
