Job summary

The Connecticut Green Bank seeks a Manager of School Fleet Electrification to join the Innovation team, with a focus on school bus electrification and supporting the Fleet Electrification Accelerator program.

This role builds and maintains long-term relationships with school districts and bus operators—especially fleet managers, superintendents, and school business officials—and guides projects from planning through financed deployment, including coordinating with districts and using Green Bank

Qualifications

• Seven (7) years of experience in fleet management, clean transportation, program management, or related field.
• Bachelor's degree may be substituted for two additional years of experience; in this case, minimum five years of professional experience is required.
• Knowledge of public procurement in school districts and capital planning is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build a pipeline of Accelerator participants from planning to deployment.
• Lead outreach plans with Marketing, Investment, and Innovation teams to increase awareness and participation.
• Develop and nurture relationships with school districts, transportation directors, and fleet managers to create project opportunities.
• Support Accelerator participants from engagement through deployment and financing, including presenting financing options.
• Supervise the fleet electrification planning consultant to ensure district plans align with Green Bank financing products.
• Represent Green Bank in boards, committees, and public meetings; prepare internal and external reports on portfolio progress.
