Diocese of Harrisburg Finance Office seeks a Finance Assistant to support deposits, invoicing, and tuition billing for Trinity High School in Camp Hill, PA.

The role includes processing deposits, weekly bank deposits, and maintaining STS databases, while reconciling student records with Rediker. It requires basic computer skills and compliance with background checks and church policies.

Qualifications

• At a minimum, have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Prefer an associates degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• Some experience in accounts payable is preferred.
• Basic computer skills, especially working with file organization, spreadsheets, and online databases.
• Must comply with PA state laws requiring background checks, safety training, and clearances.
• Must be willing to respect the Catholic Church and follow our basic morality guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Verify individual deposits submitted by clubs, departments, and athletics.
• Prepare weekly bank deposits.
• Process invoices for payment utilizing the Diocesan NAV Software System.
• Maintain tuition payment database through Simple Tuition Solutions (STS; outsource).
• Reconcile internal student database information (Rediker) with STS where appropriate.
• Serve as a tuition liaison with STS.
• Serve as a tuition liaison with school families.
• Compile and maintain the Student Debt List.
• Assist in the set-up and billing for the Carlisle Area Charter Bus.
• Answer telephone and email inquiries in a timely manner in adherence to the school’s communications policies.
• File financial documents as assigned.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
