Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics or related field.
• Basic expertise with Excel.
• Willingness to learn and develop technical software skills.
• Good communication skills and a proactive customer service approach.
• Detail oriented, discrete with confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Record and deposit manual deposits using the remote scanner.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for all cash accounts by the 10th of each month.
• Reconcile transactions within Accounting and Fundraising with Blackbaud Financial Edge and Raiser’s Edge quarterly.
• Prepare weekly cash forecast for timely bill payments.
• Record journal entries and perform account reconciliations for property management activities.
• Update fixed asset ledger and record monthly depreciation entries.
• Prepare lead sheets for annual external audits and provide supporting documentation.
