Qualifications

• Experienced bookkeeper, accounting assistant, or staff accountant background.
• Strong Excel and Google Sheet skills.
• Nonprofit, school, church, or mission-based accounting experience preferred.
• Ability to follow established procedures and maintain accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

• Support month-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
• Reconciling A/P, A/R, cash disbursements and vendor payment support.
• Cash receipts, deposits, and tuition payment support.
• Payroll and benefits accounting support.
• Fixed asset and prepaid expense schedule support.
• Restricted funds, donation, pledge, and development activity support.
• Annual audits and year-end documentation support.
• Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation.
