Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Food Service Manager to lead dining operations for its student nutrition program, guiding menu execution, scheduling, safety, and staff development.

You will coach teams, monitor performance against client expectations, and ensure a high-quality dining experience while controlling costs and maintaining compliance.

Strong interpersonal skills and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience are preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 1 year of experience.
• Requires at least 1 year of experience in a management role.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain effective client and customer rapport.
• Excellent customer service using Aramark's standard service model.
• Ability to work with other departments to deliver a unified food service experience.
• Occasional lifting up to 50 lb. and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead the front of the house of the dining operation (Cafeteria/ Residential Dining Facility) in conjunction with the Food Service Director.
• Plan, directs, and coordinates food service activities to deliver a finished product to the customer.
• Engage and develop team members to reach potential using Aramark's coaching model.
• Identify client needs and communicate operational progress to the client.
• Maintain safety, sanitation, and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Aim to meet client and company financial targets and improve margins.
