Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Food Service Manager to lead dining operations within its Student Nutrition programs. You will supervise the front-of-house team, coordinate with the Food Service Director, and ensure quality, safety and customer service standards are met.

The role focuses on delivering a high-quality dining experience while driving cost controls and profitability. The ideal candidate has at least one year in a management role, strong interpersonal skills, and a degree or equivalent

Qualifications

• Requires at least 1 year of experience in a management role
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and customer rapport abilities
• Ability to maintain an effective working relationship with other departments to a unified food service experience for all customers

Responsibilities

• Lead the front of the house of the dining operation (Cafeteria/ Residential Dining Facility) in conjunction with the Food Service Director
• Plan, directs, and coordinates food service activities to deliver a finished product to the customer
• Identify client needs and communicate operational progress; maintain P&L statements and meet financial targets
• Ensure safety and sanitation standards in all operations; lead daily team briefings and supervise production, quality and control
