Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Food Service Manager in Decatur, IL to lead dining operations and develop menus that meet customer needs and tastes. The role oversees where customers order prepared foods from a menu and requires strong leadership and team development skills.

Responsibilities include coaching, maintaining safety and sanitation standards, advancing client relationships, and driving financial performance while delivering high-quality dining experiences for school communities.

Qualifications

• Requires at least 1 year of experience as a manager.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to maintain client rapport.
• Excellent customer service using Aramark's service model.

Responsibilities

• Engage and develop team members using Aramark's coaching model.

• Plan and lead daily team briefings.
• Ensure safety and sanitation standards in all operations.

• Supervise team regarding production, quality and control.
• Lead the front of the house of the dining operation with the Food Service Director.
