Marley Park Elementary in Surprise, AZ is seeking a Crossing Guard (.25 FTE) to help provide for and ensure the safety of students as they cross streets before and after school. The role reports to the Principal and is non-exempt, part-time, with a small daily commitment outdoors in all weather.

Responsibilities include guiding pedestrians, coordinating with staff, maintaining stop paddles, and complying with state laws and district procedures to protect students and the school community.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Valid Arizona Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card required

• Assist children in crossing streets at assigned times and locations.
• Interact with students, staff and community members in a positive manner.
• Maintain and report safety concerns and infractions as required by policy and law.
• Operate and report issues with district-provided crossing equipment (stop paddle, signs).
• Follow state laws and district procedures for school crossings.
