Job summary

Rocky View Schools is seeking a continuing, full-time Caretaker I to provide routine cleaning duties at Langdon School starting immediately. Monday to Friday after school hours with 1-2 day shifts per month as per the school year calendar.

The role includes housekeeping, maintaining contents and furnishings in a clean, sanitary condition, under supervision of the Head Building Operator. Langdon School serves K–9 and is located in Langdon.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning is preferred.
• Certification from cleaning organization is an asset.
• Experience in a school division is advantageous.
• Equivalent education and experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Attention to detail related to varied and complex cleaning tasks.
• Work independently and in a team environment as needed.
• Demonstrate pride in workmanship.
• Perform building security checks as scheduled by the Head Building Operator.
• Work in line with Occupational Health & Safety and WHMIS regulations.
