Job summary

The Academy, a charter school in Westminster, Colorado, is seeking a dependable full-time Custodian to keep classrooms, restrooms, and common areas clean, safe, and welcoming for students and staff. This year-round role supports building operations and events, with an afternoon shift and a Monday–Friday schedule.

Responsibilities include cleaning tasks, snow removal, reporting hazards, and assisting visitors.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 18 years of age.
• No experience required; cleaning experience and customer service preferred.
• Criminal background check required for hire.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning duties in classrooms, restrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Assist with building operations for events and access control.
• Assist staff, students, and visitors during shifts.
• Respond to alarms and report hazards to supervisor.
• Remove snow, ice, and perform seasonal cleaning outside.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
