Fort Wayne Community School District is seeking a dedicated Food Service Assistant to prepare and serve meals, assist with cashiering duties, and maintain food service facilities in a clean, sanitary condition following HACCP standards.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and be able to pass a credit check. You will assist with food preparation, portioning, equipment cleaning, inventory support, and daily records to ensure safe, nutritious meals for FWCS students.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass a credit check.
• Experience with food preparation and sanitation per HACCP.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and package food items according to established procedures.
• Maintain clean and sanitary condition of equipment and serving areas per HACCP.
• Prepare entrees, fruits, vegetables, sandwiches and desserts for distribution.
• Assist with inventory, storage and rotation of food items as directed.
• Safely operate standard food service equipment and conveyors as assigned.
• Maintain routine records related to assigned activities.
• Support FWCS Schools of Success mission and core competencies.
