Fort Wayne Community Schools Nutrition Services is seeking a part-time Cafeteria Assistant at North Side High School. The role involves preparing and serving meals, cashiering responsibilities, and maintaining clean, safe food service areas according to HACCP standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare and/or package food items; assemble ingredients; heat, package and wrap food items according to procedures and HACCP standards.
• Maintain food service facilities, equipment and utensils in a clean and sanitary condition per HACCP standards.
• Prepare and assemble entrees, fruits, vegetables, sandwiches, desserts and other foods for distribution; assist with temperature control.
• Assist in receipt, storage and rotation of food items and supplies; assist with inventory activities.
• Operate standard food service equipment including ovens, slicers, carts, can openers, warmers, kettles, mixers.
• Maintain routine records related to assigned activities.
• Support FWCS Schools of Success mission and promote core competencies in daily work.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
