Fort Wayne Community Schools Nutrition Services at South Side High School seeks a part-time 4-hour Cafeteria Assistant to prepare and serve meals, assist with cashiering, and maintain a clean, safe food service environment in accordance with HACCP standards.

Ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent and some food service experience. The role involves standing for extended periods and handling food preparation tasks in a school setting.

Qualifikationen

• Graduation from high school or equivalent.
• Sufficient training or experience to perform duties.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and/or package food items, assemble ingredients, and wrap items per procedures and HACCP standards.
• Maintain facilities, equipment and utensils clean and sanitary per HACCP; clean serving areas, counters and equipment.
• Prepare entrees, fruits, vegetables, sandwiches and desserts for distribution; ensure proper temperatures.
• Assist receipt, storage and rotation of items; help with inventory.
• Operate standard food service equipment such as ovens, slicers, warmers and mixers.
• Maintain routine records of activities.
• Perform related duties as assigned by the Administrator.
