Job summary

Strong problem‑solving, interpersonal skills, and knowledge of basic computer software and hardware are highly valued for maintaining program integrity and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of the Arkansas Department of Education Manager's Training for Child Nutrition.
• Experience in quality food service operation preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and conflict management skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow district policies and procedures.
• Operate and monitor health standards in food preparation.
• Assist with serving lines and managing food counts.
• Maintain sanitation and safe handling of chemicals.
• Support food service operations during emergencies.
• Direct work of others during manager’s absence when needed.
• Maintain records and reports as directed.
• Communicate with the public and staff courteously.
• Participate in inservice training programs.
